2026 InQueery Symposium

Online via Zoom
Register by September 27

About the event

The Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program and the LGBTQ+ Center invite the WSU community to the 2026 InQueery Symposium. This year’s keynote speaker is Mejdulene Bernard Shomali, presenting “Where Do We Go From Queer? Palestinian Ecologies for Liberation.”

The InQueery Symposium is an annual event that brings together research in queer and trans studies across disciplines and communities. In this year’s keynote, Shomali examines Palestinian liberation through queer politics and draws on the history of Palestinian resistance to consider forms of community, collaboration, and political action outside liberal and normative frameworks.

Registered participants will receive the Zoom link by email.
