What is the role of comedy in politics? Stand-up comedian and television host W. Kamau Bell, frequently weaves sociopolitical commentary into his work, including a recent Netflix comedy special Private School Negro, and the CNN documentary series United Shades of America.
Bob Bauman, WSU Tri-Cities associate professor of history, will present an interactive workshop on civil rights groups and exploring the impact of student activism during a workshop at the WSU Tri-Cities MOSAIC Center for Student Inclusion.
This training introduces students to their rights and responsibilities under WSU’s Policy Prohibiting Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct.
The LIFT Fellows program focuses on the implementation of pedagogical and behavioral innovations and implementations across the undergraduate curriculum with goals to support students’ academic success, increase their life skills and resilience, and transform their experience at WSU.
