Creating New Careers – Pathways for America’s Veterans

Please join fellow military-affiliated students, community partners, and leaders from two of the nation’s most prominent veteran service organizations as we explore the challenges and opportunities for America’s military veterans and their spouses.

Meet Our Guests:

Rob Comer – Comer is a 29-year Army veteran and senior regional manager for Hiring Our Heroes, a nonprofit organization committed to connecting veterans and their spouses to meaningful career opportunities.

Olivia Martinez-Stewart – Martinez-Stewart has been working in career development for 25 years and is currently the regional director of the western region for FourBlock. FourBlock is a nationwide nonprofit dedicated to preparing returning service members and military spouses to successfully transition to meaningful new civilian careers.

Keith Wagoner – Senator Wagoner serves Washington’s 39th Legislative District, which spans parts of Skagit and Snohomish counties Senator Wagoner spent his freshman year at Washington State University before he went on to the United States Naval Academy. He spent 23 years as a naval officer and helicopter pilot before retiring in 2007.
