About the Cougs in Space Forum

Cougs in Space presents a unique opportunity for students in engineering, business, research, sciences, innovation, and more, who are passionate about the space industry to connect with Alumni and Employers in those fields. This event is a joint collaboration between the Academic Success and Career Center, the College of Arts & Sciences, the Carson College of Business, the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture, and the Cougs in Space Club.

Employer & Alumni Panel | 12:00pm

Are you interested in a career in the aerospace industry? Hear directly from a panel of industry experts and alumni as they share their insights on navigating careers, company culture, and the latest trends in the field.

What to Expect:

  • Career Advice: Get tips on how to land your dream job in the aerospace industry from employers and alumni.
  • Industry Insights and Company Culture: Learn about navigating career opportunities in the aerospace industry.

Networking Mixer | 12:45pm

Join us for networking and connection with alumni and representatives who have navigated careers in the aerospace industry. This mixer is a great opportunity to expand your professional network, learn about careers, and discover the latest industry trends.

What to Expect:

  • Networking: Connect with industry professionals and alumni.
  • Insight on Career Opportunities: Explore potential career paths and learn about job openings.
  • Industry Insights: Gain valuable insights into the aerospace industry and its future.

Dress code: Business casual – learn more about business casual on the ASCC website. 

Keynote Address | 1:30pm

Join us for a stellar Cougs in Space Keynote with Dr. Matthew Brzostowski.

Dr. Brzostowski will share their career journey – from his time as an undergraduate at Washington State University to his contributions to space research and more. Our keynote offers valuable insights for anyone passionate about space and innovation!
