Crimson and Gray Day

About the event

Celebrate WSU’s Birthday on Crimson and Gray Day

The Washington State University Alumni Association (WSUAA) is celebrating the founding of the university by handing out FREE cake to students, faculty, and staff on March 28 as part of Crimson and Gray Day.

The event is historically held across all WSU campuses, including Pullman, Everett, Spokane, Tri-Cities, and Vancouver. Cake will be available at all physical campuses for two hours—or until the cake is gone. WSU Global will host a virtual Crimson and Gray Day contest!

Campus Locations:

  • Pullman: Cake will be served from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. on Glenn Terrell Mall in front of the Todd Hall steps.
  • Spokane: Cupcakes will be served from 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Student Academic Center.
  • Tri-Cities: Cake will be served from noon–2:00 p.m. in the Student Union Building.
  • Vancouver: Cake will be served from 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in VDEN gallery and from 3:00–4:00 p.m. on the Firstenberg Patio.
  • Everett: Cake will be served from noon–2:00 p.m. in the lobby on the first floor of the University Center.
  • Global: Share your “why” and participate in the Crimson and Gray Day contest.
