Dealing with Graduation Anxiety: Lunch and Learn
About the event
Presented by: Jack Severinghaus, WSU Student Counselor
This workshop will discuss common concerns of students as they near graduation and leave the University environment for "the real world." While graduation is exciting and a long anticipated goal, it is understandable (and normal) to have some anxiety regarding such a big life change. This workshop has been requested by a number of students over the last few years. Simple, practical strategies for addressing concerns will be presented, along with suggestions of how to make the transition successfully, whether to that much-anticipated new job or possibly graduate or professional training.
The Lunch & Learn series is sponsored by Spokane Student Affairs with a grant from STCU. Lunches occur every week with new topics and speakers each time. WSU Spokane students who RSVP to spok.sa@wsu.edu by the day before the event will receive a free lunch. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
