About the event

Experience Noah’s unique musical talents and cultural demonstration during a FREE online event available for all WSU students, faculty, and staff from all campuses. Singer-songwriter, music technologist and multi-instrumentalist, Noah Hoehn, has performed for nearly 200 colleges and universities across the country. His unique and engaging solo show featuring marimba, harmonica and Indian Dhol drum, has been featured on PBS’s “Minnesota Original”. The Minnesotan is also a three-time winner of the prestigious McKnight Fellowship for Performing Musicians. His unique and dynamic performances could be described as one part Eddie Vedder, one part Zedd and one part “marimba ninja”. Noah uses a style of looping called audio architecture to construct both mod covers and original music. His compelling show enlightens and engages students with slices of culture through demonstrations as well as a continuous theme of positivity. Watch the video below for a sample of his work.
