You are invited to a research seminar entitled, “Metabolomics, Networks, and the Biology of Aging” with guest speaker Dr. Daniel Promislow, Department of Pathology, University of Washington.

Info about Dr. Promislow:    Dr. Promislow is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and on the Editorial Board of the Proceedings of the Royal Society. He recently joined the faculty of the University of Washington Medical School faculty after serving as a faculty member in the Department of Genetics at the University of Georgia from 1995 – 2013.  Dr. Promislow’s research on the evolution of aging has been or is funded by the National Institutes of Health, the American Federation for Aging Research, the National Science Foundation, and several private foundations. He has recently turned his attention to using high-throughput metabolomics to understand why aging differs among and within species.
