WSU Veterinary Extension Webinar Series: How Nutrition Moo-ves Dairy Cattle Health

Dr. Kirby Krogstad, Assistant Professor, Dairy Nutrition, The Ohio State University

Dr. Krogstad will present nutritional approaches, including micro and macronutrients, that influence animal health or systemic inflammation. The presentation will briefly review critical nutrients like Vitamin E, amino acids, and polyphenols and how they may or may not be a tool to improve animal health. Additionally, Dr. Krogstad will provide some of his recommendations and suggestions for ration formulation to enhance animal health.
