Summary:
The final session of the evidence synthesis series will discuss key steps for data extraction, analysis and synthesis; quality and bias assessment; as well as review reporting and dissemination. The authors will use their experience in completing and publishing systematic and scoping reviews to highlight best practices and pitfalls in pulling together and publishing an evidence synthesis (review).

Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
1. Compare and contrast data extraction for systematic reviews and scoping reviews
2. Discuss strategic differences when reporting results for different review types (tables and narrative summaries)
3. Provide an overview of quality and bias assessment resources for scholars/researchers conducting evidence synthesis
4. Describe approaches to data synthesis and writing the results and discussion sections of reviews

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements of the ACCME. The Elson S.
