Career Expo Prep Series: Professional Headshots (virtual and in-person options)

About the event

Getting ready for the Career Expo or updating your LinkedIn profile? Thanks to the WSU Alumni Association and the Academic Success and Career Center, Cougs will have access to high-quality headshots with customizable virtual backgrounds whether they’re on campus or joining virtually! A great headshot is often the first step in making a strong impression, and now you can get yours with ease, no matter your location.

Registration

• Current students can register using the Handshake platform
• Alumni registration will be available through the WSU Alumni Association

What to Expect (In-Person):

• No appointment needed – just drop in during the event window at Lighty Student Services Building 180
• Quick and easy photo session using our PopCam station
• Photos will be emailed to you immediately after your session

What to Expect (Virtual):

• Access our virtual headshot platform from anywhere on our event date (instructions will be sent day-of the event)
• Use your device’s camera to take a high-quality photo
• Choose from a variety of professional virtual backgrounds
• Photos will be emailed to you immediately after your session

Suggested attire:

• Dress in smart casual or business casual attire – think solid colors, clean lines, and minimal patterns. You want your look to be polished and confident, just like you would for an interview or networking event. We will also have items from the Cougar Closet that you can use if joining in-person.
