Dr. Dori Borjesson, Dean, WSU College of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Borjesson brings decades of experience advancing veterinary research, clinical innovation, and animal health. A nationally recognized scientist and educator, she is committed to strengthening veterinary medicine and supporting the next generation of practitioners serving livestock and companion animals.

Dr. Arno Werners, Associate Dean, Professional Programs, Veterinary Clinical Sciences

Dr. Werners is an award-winning veterinary pharmacologist and educator with extensive experience in equine practice, veterinary medicine, and academic leadership.

He currently serves as Senior Vice-President of the European College of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology (ECVPT) and was recognized with the 2025 AAVPT Teaching Award for excellence in veterinary pharmacology education.
