About the event

Advanced Grid Institute (AGI) hosts The Grid Center for Reliable Electricity Delivery (GridCRED) presented by Mr. Jacob Reidt, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory

OVERVIEW
Given the challenges facing the power system, a regional and multi-regional analysis capability that informs actionable, scenario-based decisions for planning and operating a reliable, resilient, and affordable grid would provide benefit to power system stakeholders. This presentation introduces GridCRED™, a DOE Office of Electricity sponsored research center housing the people, data, and tools that provide the foundation for timely, replicable analyses of specific grid scenarios. The audience will gain an appreciation of the use-cases that stakeholders have designated as relevant and important, particularly focusing on the benefits and impacts of Integrated System Planning.
