Department of Chemistry – AER/I Seminar
About the event
Abstract: Scientific presentations are important, whether they contain information that is published years ago or discuss results that are only a few hours old. Being able to present a strong scientific presentation is not only important for communicating one’s contribution to a particular field, but also when discussing the relevance of important literature results. This seminar on presentations will discuss the structure of a scientific talk, providing details on the structure of a presentation slide, dealing with graphics, presenting data, and other presentation tips for providing a strong scientific talk. Additional information on presenting a talk on Zoom will be included.
NOTE: Please note that the meeting will be locked at 3:10 pm, so all attendees should login in early as they will not be able to view the seminar if they log in after 3:10 pm.
