About the event
The Washington State University student chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners is hosting the 9th Annual Horse Course, a public event for horse owners and enthusiasts.
Anyone is welcome to attend!
Topics that we will have lectures on include:
- Dental floats
- Smoke inhalation and exercise
- Equine toxicology
- Emergency kits
- Why is postpartum examination important
- Management of pregnant mares
- Computerized semen evaluation
- How painful is this horse?
- Preparing your older horse for winter
- Colic: recognizing signs and what you can do
All lectures and demonstrations will be taught by WSU College of Veterinary Medicine equine clinicians and technicians.
