Title: Synthesis of molecular recognition group (Tectons)
Abstract: A rational approach to create self-replicating polymer machines that would allow for complete selectivity in chain size and sequence. The approach relies heavily on molecular recognition to govern replicative selectivity in which synthetic molecular recognition units, or tectons, will induce self-assembly in organic media. Details of the synthetic approach, trouble shooting, and execution of the strategy.
