Title: Purposeful Design – Defending Critical Infrastructure
Abstract: System security design is often focused on adding technology to a system to reduce risk. However, in an operational technology (OT) environment, significant improvements to the security posture can be realized by taking a “least viable functionality” approach. This task will outline real-world, practical steps that can be taken to enhance the security of an industrial control system using this approach.
