You are invited to participate in the second annual Women’s Leadership Summit, hosted by the WSU Alumni Association. The Summit is designed to provide Cougs an opportunity to celebrate successes and learn from the experiences of women from WSU.
Similar to 2020 Hackathon this will be a 5-week program, but this time students will be able to develop their ideas in a parallel track with formed start-ups and be involved in a broader community of entrepreneurs. Teams will compete for cash prizes (in their respective tracks) during a final pitch event on May 23. Students do not need to have fully formed ideas or teams to apply and get admitted to the program. The deadline for applications is March 20, 2022.

Thiols play critical roles in cell biology. These include maintaining redox homeostasis, as well as the modulation and regulation of protein activity. Dysregulation of thiols has been linked to several diseases including diabetes, cancer, and neurodegenerative disease. For this reason, there is a need for tools for the detection and labeling of thiols. Thiol blocking reagents can be used to label and identification of protein thiols.
